Collectoria combines a curated shop, user marketplace, auction system, encyclopedia, collector tools, and field/outfitter directory in one product. The goal is to make collecting safer and more useful: buyers can inspect item data before purchase, sellers can submit structured listings, and admins can review public content before it reaches the storefront.
Marketplace principles
- Listings should describe the exact item being sold, not only the mineral name.
- Photos, certificates, locality information, treatment notes, and condition details should be clear and separated by media role.
- Seller items can be routed through review, risk checks, payment holds, tracked shipping, and dispute handling before payout.
- Collectors should be able to compare shop items, auction lots, encyclopedia entries, and collection records using consistent geological attributes.
Content standards
Encyclopedia and guide content should be reviewed, source-backed where possible, and written for practical collector decisions. Admins can manage translations, glossary data, media, sources, categories, commercial placements, public texts, and long-form content pages from the admin panel.
